I don't know about you, but i find it pretty strange
that our ears open up to things that are temporary when they could be open to the one who always remains
especially when what they're both saying......is the same

"Verily Allah will not change the state of a people unless they change that which is in themselves."
but obviously we wouldn't know that because our knowledge is collecting dust on the shelves
rest assured, that to all ills time is the cure, buuuut...when we look inside is what we see pure?

Now I also find it pretty strange
that we're all so quick to complain
but so slow in taking the first steps to better days
Economy this, poverty that, Islam is weak, oppression, depression, resources, oil, crime, corruption, pollution
so quick to present problems, so slow to provide solutions

We must strive to revive our roots from which we've been so deprived
we should know that selfishness and greed only causes more corruption to arise
we must help each other, so that we all survive
because if i help you, and you help him, at the end of the day we'll have a surplus
because you and i, need to better "us"
you and me, need to better "we"
